I own a footbike roughly for 10 years and it gradually became a very important part of my both personal and family life. On footbike, I visited many beautiful places not only in the Czech Republic, but other European countries as well.
Sometimes I participate in races of the long distance series SDK in the Czech republic, as well as the main race, Crossing the Czech Republic. However, my racing speed is not very different from my relaxed, trip mode speed. I am helping with the organisation of footbike events and races, which started very casually with the Rybníkářův pohár (“Fisherman´s Cup”), followed by the road racing four stages event O poklad Zubaté žáby (“The Treasure of the Toothed Frog”) and culminated in a huge project Kick Spain 2025, which assured me, that it is good to have big dreams and do not hesitate to make them true.
Apart from sporting experience, thanks to footbikes I met a lot of people, more precisely footbike enthusiasts, who in my opinion create a great and very friendly community.
There are several differences between me and the rest of the women of Kick France - I don´t live in Brno and I am not a member of the club. Also, there is one more slight discrepancy - I am a bit slower and older than they are. But I take it as a positive thing - at least they will test their patience
I joined the team almost by accident and even before I fully realised that I could participate in something like this. Then for several weeks I was convincing myself that I can do it and that it basically is one of my dreams. And as I was successful in my efforts, I am here, looking forward to it and I am sure it will be worth every investment.
